This 34-footer’s bow had an unfortunate encounter with a dock, and the dock won. The repair is nothing new to us, but there are some challenges on the inside of this cruiser. There’s a wire channel and of course the repair needs to be perfect.

Update: The mold has been made, and the damaged area removed. The photo shows a clear view into the forepeak!

Like it never happened. Well, it’s not quite done yet but soon the owner (and everyone else) will have a hard time finding any evidence of the meeting with the dock.
